Corporate training

Corporate training programs are often competency based and related to the essential training employees need to operate certain equipment or perform certain tasks in a competent, safe and effective manner. The outcome of a corporate training program is a participant who is either able to operate a piece of equipment or perform a specific task in an effective manner according to Pre-determined training criteria.

The primary role of corporate training is to ensure an employee has the knowledge and skills to undertake a specific operation to enable an organization can continue to operate. Fundamentally, corporate training is centered on knowledge transfer, with an instructor teaching or demonstrating a particular function and the student learning and demonstrating they can apply what they have learn to a particular operation.

Industrial training

The purpose of industry training is to provide students with an opportunity to gain entry-level experience in the workplace; to apply and broaden the professional and theoretical skills they have acquired at College; and to develop a network of industry contacts.

The purpose of the Industrial Training is to provide exposure for the students on practical engineering fields. Through this exposure, students will have better understanding of engineering practice in general and sense of frequent and possible problems. This training is part of the learning process. So, the exposure that uplifts the knowledge and experience of a student needs to be properly documented in the form of a report. Through this report, the experience gain can be delivered to their peers. A properly prepared report can facilitate the presentation of the practical experience in an orderly, precise and interesting manner.
